These Advertiser Terms add to FourFork Inc.'s Terms of Service and apply to advertising on FourFork. In these terms, "you" means the business that advertises. Whoever accepts these terms for a business confirms that they are allowed to bind it. Where these terms and the Terms of Service differ on advertising, these terms apply.
1. Your Business Account
- A business can advertise once FourFork approves its application.
- A FourFork login belongs to one business at a time.
- Each member of a business's team has a role. Owners manage the business profile, saved cards and the team. Members create ads and run and pay for campaigns. Viewers can see everything but change nothing.
- Owners are responsible for what their team does in the business's name.
- Keep the business's details current, including its contact email and billing address.
2. Your Ads
- You are responsible for your ads and for the pages they link to.
- You give FourFork a licence to show your ads, including resizing and cropping them to fit their placements.
- FourFork reviews every ad before it runs, and may reject, pause or remove any ad at any time.
- Ads must be accurate and lawful. FourFork does not accept ads for illegal products, adult content, tobacco or vaping, weapons, gambling, political or issue advertising, unproven health or nutrition claims, or misleading pricing.
3. Campaigns and Delivery
- You choose where a campaign runs and how many views to buy.
- A campaign's price is the number of views multiplied by the rate per thousand views shown when you buy it. That rate is fixed for that campaign.
- A view counts when the ad is fully visible on screen, as FourFork measures it. FourFork's counts are final for billing.
- FourFork does not guarantee particular positions, timing, audiences or results.
- A campaign ends when its views have been delivered, when it reaches its end date, or when you cancel it.
4. Payment
- Campaigns are paid in full before they start.
- Your business's ad credit is used first, oldest first, and your saved card covers the rest.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. FourFork never sees or stores card numbers.
- If a payment fails, the campaign does not start.
- Receipts and invoices are available on the Payments page.
- Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.
5. Credit, and No Refunds
Payments are final and are not refunded to your card, except where the law requires it.
Views that a campaign does not deliver, because you cancelled it or it reached its end date, come back to your business as ad credit. Ad credit:
- has no cash value and is not refundable;
- cannot be transferred to another business, except at FourFork's discretion;
- can only be used for advertising on FourFork; and
- expires 12 months after it is issued.
Promotional credit that FourFork gives may come with its own terms. If FourFork closes a business for breaching these terms, any credit remaining on it is forfeited.
6. Disputes Over Charges
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, FourFork may suspend your business while the dispute is resolved, and may reverse any credit that came from that payment.
7. Reporting and Data
- You receive aggregate statistics about your campaigns, such as views and clicks.
- FourFork does not give advertisers personal information about the people who see their ads, and you must not try to identify them.
- Your business's information is handled as our Privacy Policy describes.
8. Suspension and Stopping
- FourFork may suspend a business for breaching these terms, for failed payments, or for misleading ads.
- A suspended business can still see its records and invoices, but cannot create, launch or pay for anything.
- You can stop advertising at any time. Cancelling a campaign returns its undelivered views as credit.
9. Responsibility
You confirm that your ads comply with the law, including advertising, consumer-protection, and food and health-claim rules. You will indemnify FourFork against claims arising from your ads and the pages they link to. Sections 8 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) and 14 (Dispute Resolution) of the Terms of Service also apply to advertising.
10. Changes to These Terms
FourFork may update these terms. We will email the owners of each business about material changes, and may ask a business to accept the new version before its next campaign. The current version is always available at fourfork.com/advertiser-terms.
